The Earlybirds team
At Earlybirds, all of our friendly team are fully qualified Early Years Practitioners. We maintain a caring, friendly, happy environment for your child.
We aim to provide a well structured, safe and fun learning space, where children are nurtured and encouraged to be enqusitive whilst learning through play.
Each member of the team are Paediatric First Aid qualified and hold certificates in Safeguard Training and Food Hygiene.

Hi I'm Claire, I'd like to introduce myself.
I am married with 2 children and have lived in North Devon for the past 21 years.
It has been a long time ambition to set up my own nursery.
My husband and I purchased the property in Fremington, where, after 2 years of hard work and determination (and during a pandemic!!) I established EarlyBirds day nursery in June 2020.
I completed college in 1995 with my NNEB nursery nurse qualification.
I have worked in childcare since leaving college and have experience across all age groups including children with special educational needs.
My Qualifications now include:
NVQ L3 and NVQ L4 in Childcare
Paediatric First Aid
Safeguarding children L3
SENDCO qualified
Food Safety and Hygiene
